Location: Greensboro, NC
Duration: Long Term Position
One of our clients in Greensboro is looking to add a new CSV Engineer to their team. This will be a long-term contract position.
Must have:

Job Description:
This position will work to implement and support software quality management principles, practices, processes, and tools across the IT organization. The position will be an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO)
Major Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the IT Quality Assurance Manager to define, implement, support, and enforce IT quality assurance best practices, process improvement initiatives, standards, and procedures.
- Proactively work with IT project managers and software developers during design and development phases to plan and implement product/project testing strategies to ensure high-quality IT deliverables.
- Design, develop, and implement QA test plans, test cases, and perform appropriate QA testing, to ensure a smooth transition of projects into the production environment.
- Implement and support effective processes and procedures for defect and issues management.
- Partner with software development teams to qualify code, provide useful debug information, and to share test code, thereby extending developer unit tests into QA test environments.
- Create and distribute reports for communicating testing status to business units, development, and management.
- Conduct reviews and QA audits of IT projects to ensure compliance with internal controls and standards.
- Develop new testing approaches to accommodate tight schedules and resource constraints.
- Review the results of QA testing with business partners, IT project managers, and software development teams to gain sign off and acceptance for changes being introduced to production environments.
- Assist in implementing computer system validation procedures, processes and best practices to meet regulatory requirements.
- Attend project related meetings as required.
