Position : Java developer

Location: NYC

contract:6+months

Position Requirements
Required Technical Skills:

  • 2-7 years of enterprise software development experience
  • Excellent core Java skills
  • Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle and/or Sybase)
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design patterns
  • Experience in multi-threaded programming

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • JMS
  • JDBC
  • Experience with high-speed, high-volume transactional systems

Other requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and problem resolution skills
  • The profile of a team-player who forms strong relationships with colleagues and has good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities

Preferred Attributes:

Financial services experience / understanding of securities trading
