The Testing Analyst II acts as a consultant and partner with the business community and GBS&T project teams and business partners to elicit testing requirements and recommend test strategy, plans and approaches based on best practices and the project characteristics. Sr. Testing Analyst will direct Performance Testing team members work when necessary. The Sr. Testing Analyst is an active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle and will be required to work closely with a variety of internal and external business partners to ensure that all testing requirements are understood, documented and met. The role also provides high-level training and guidance on testing tools (e.g. HP Quality Center) and helps maintain and track tool licenses. The Sr. Testing Analyst generally works on projects of medium to high complexity.
- The candidate will leverage their understanding of business objectives, technology capabilities and QA best practices to develop and manage the testing strategy for a large complex project.
- Collaborates across the organization to plan, negotiate and execute QA functions on the project.
- Manages the development of comprehensive test plans to ensure business deliverables are met.
- Communicates project risks to involve stakeholders and determine recommended solutions.
- Provides strategic direction to the testing team.
