Position: OSS/Amdocs Consultant
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration : 18 months.
Scope of Activities / Key Deliverables:
Work with Blueprint and Roadmap personnel and retail systems delivery teams to gather requirements, generate blueprints and designs, and assist in the delivery 10+ years experience with BSS, Retail, Sales, revenue management, receivables management, OSS systems. Preference to experience with an MSO.
5+ years' experience with Amdocs CES portfolio.
Exposure and knowledge of TM Forum eTOM and TAM models desired but not required.
Bachelor of Science Computer Science or equivalency required.
of the new Arcadia back-office. Work with product, business and operations personnel to ensure that features, process flows, and policies are crafted to ensure they are in-line with Arcadia target architectures and systems capabilities so there are no mismatches / re-work.
Produce, and maintain the following:
¿ Strategic capabilities based roadmap and architecture for BSS and OSS back-office systems.
¿ Supporting estimation and planning for retail epics/stories and feature delivery within Arcadia.
¿ Assisting executives with justifications for investment and trade offs in technology solutions relative to Arcadia.
New, modern back office for Resi Cable. Improved NPS, Better products, Reduced cost
Need / Risk:
Additional SME/Architect in the Arcadia project area will ensure that system operational procedures, functionality and capabilities being rapidly developed re built properly into the Arcadia platform.
Failure to have this role / position at this time will result in point-solutions being developed which will require re-work/refactoring in Arcadia or will not co-exist with Arcadia. This would result in probable duplicative costs – change in legacy and change in Arcadia. It may also result in systems incompatibilities, errors, fallout and other operational issues in retail channel sales, service and repair.
