Position: .NET Programmer
Location: Clifton Forge, VA
Duration: 1+ Year
Interview: In-Person Only
Rate: Upto $45/hr on 1099/C2C
***candidates local to the Clifton Forge, VA area are strongly preferred. Clifton Forge is in far western VA, almost WVA
***ALL candidates MUST be able to attend a personal interview in Clifton Forge, VA, NO phone interviews, NO Skype, NO exceptions
***ALL work is to be performed onsite in Clifton Forge, VA
5+ Year Experience (Required)
- 5+ years of experience in VB.NET development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Visual Studio platform
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases (MSSQL)
- Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, CSS
- Experience with JavaScript and/or Java is a Plus
- Experience designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
on-site and provide professional support
Provide support and maintenance on the in-house proprietary C#/VB.Net application
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare releases of software components.
- Work proficiently in a team-based environment but able to work independently.
- Design and code new Windows and web software applications
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
