Position: Desktop Support
Location: Iowa City, IA
Duration:4-6 Months

Position Type 1: Install team:
4 openings - 6 months
Install equipment for the new Hospital before the end of October. Resource will need a technical background but will report to a lead. Install instructions will be provided - Desktops, laptops, printers, AV equipment, and other peripheral medical devices. Basic troubleshooting required, complex issues will be escalated to a lead.
Duties:
- Hardware installation of desktop workstations and laptops in a large Enterprise Domain environment
- Image new Dell/Cybernet workstation with Windows 7 64-Bit Professional via SCCM OSD
- A/V system testing
- Migration of user profile data
- Cable Management
- Software deployment via SCCM packages and manual install
- Deliver consistent IT service to our end users
- End user onsite training for new operating system and software
- Details tracked in IT ticketing system for billing and documentation purposes
Requirements:
- Windows 7
- Microsoft Office Suite 2013
- 1-3 years of desktop support experience
- Able to lift equipment
Preferences:
- Health Care IT Experience
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Skype for Business Experience
- A/V setup/configuration Experience
Project 2: Desktop support:
2 positions - 4 months
Candidate will possess basic desktop support skills:
Desktop/Laptop support, Office, Outlook, Printers, network connectivity, basic Active Directory troubleshooting.
